CHANGES TO BIIN’S PROGRAMS IN RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS
For the health and safety of our clients, volunteers, and the larger community, BIIN is moving all in-person classes online. Answers to questions and case management (our Information, Referrals and Assistance program) will be provided by phone, Facebook, and virtual meetings. English class lessons will be posted weekly on BIIN’s website and students are encouraged to study at home. Citizenship classes will be streamed live through BIIN’s Facebook page beginning Saturday March 28, 2020. English citizenship classes will start at 3 pm and Spanish citizenship classes will begin at 5 pm. Using the Messenger app, students can ask the instructor questions during class. For people needing assistance with other types of problems, please call the BIIN office at 979-393-8228 and leave a message with your name, contact information, and best means/times of reaching you. BIIN’s volunteers will return your call within 24 hours. BIIN volunteers will also be available on Facebook Messenger (through the BIIN page – biintx).
