BIIN Achieves SECC Approval

We are thrilled to announce that as of September 1, 2021 Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network is an approved State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) organization. This means that if you work for the state of Texas, you can choose to donate pre-tax dollars to BIIN, making your monthly or occasional donations stretch even further.
To learn how to set up your donation, if you are a state employee through TAMU, please click here, and if you work for a different Texas agency, please click here. When asked to select an organization, you can choose “Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network” (not “BIIN”) or simply enter our SECC code: 250026. Please keep in mind that the sign-up period opens on September 1st and ends on October 31st.
Since BIIN is a relatively new nonprofit with limited resources, it took us two years and a significant amount of work and money (we had to pay for an accountant’s financial review, in order to be an SECC-approved organization) to achieve this goal. But we are proud to check off another one of our 2021 strategic goals!
We would be so grateful if you shared this news with your family and friends, so that any who work for the state of Texas can also easily support BIIN in this way. BIIN would not exist without the support of the local community and we thank you for continuing to support, share and promote the work that we do!
