Socorro Hernandez is originally from Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to the U.S. in 1995. When she heard about BIIN’s citizenship classes through a local newspaper, La Voz, she immediately signed up. Janet Morford moved to the BCS area in 2017 from Illinois. She learned about BIIN through St. Thomas Episcopal Church and was excited to get involved and contribute to a positive and constructive organization.
