Fulfill the Dream Scholarship
ABOUT
The Texas Dream Act, signed in 2001, gave certain immigrant students who graduated from Texas high schools the chance to pay in-state tuition at public universities and colleges. Due to the SB1798 upheld in June 2025, this law has now been overturned, affecting many students– some just a semester or two from graduating.
The difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition at Texas A&M is about $15,000 per year. For many students, that’s an impossible gap to fill in such short notice. An estimated 200 A&M students are impacted. Without urgent help, these students will be forced to put their education– and their dreams– on hold.
Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network is raising emergency funds to support affected students at Texas A&M. To support this program, please donate here, and select Fulfill the Dream Scholarship under donation designation.
