Duties and Qualifications: BIIN seeks volunteers to help with Our Know Your Rights presentations. We go to local immigrant communities and help them understand their legal rights: family security in the case of ICE questioning, their rights under deportation, and other legal barriers. Ideally, there are three to four volunteers for each presentation. One volunteer to present the powerpoint slides (must be bilingual for the job), one volunteer manage the projector and one or two volunteers to provide childcare.

BIIN rents a booth at the local flea market to widen our client network and speak directly about our services to the Brazos Valley immigrant population. Ideally, there would be two volunteers for each of the two shifts. A high Spanish proficiency is needed for this job.

BIIN takes every opportunity to network with our clients and needs volunteers to table events as they come up.
