Jeremy Dudo, ESL Coordinator

Written by Lizbeth Galindo

Meet Jeremy Dudo, our dedicated ESL coordinator and teacher who has worked for our organization for several years. Throughout his time here, he has had a positive impact on our organization by being a motivated and positive influence in teaching and coordinating our English classes. His work has helped many people achieve a better understanding of the English language and he continues to work with them weekly to improve their English.

Jeremy, who grew up in Bryan-College Station and regularly heard Spanish speakers, learned to pick up as much Spanish as possible. This allowed him to better understand the struggles of learning a new language, which is clearly reflected in his patience and understanding while teaching the ESL classes. Jeremy was introduced to BIIN by people from his church and he quickly realized how much he enjoyed teaching the ESL classes. Since then, he has taught all three levels offered by BIIN and has continued to help students better in their English proficiency.

Throughout his time here, Jeremy has learned a lot, including what it means to work for something as rewarding as helping others not only improve their English skills but also give people a helping hand when they need it. He says the most rewarding thing so far is seeing his students progress in their English proficiency and gain confidence as a result. Without the help of hard workers like Jeremy, BIIN would not be the organization it is today, and for that, we are eternally grateful not only to Jeremy but to all volunteers and interns involved.
