The BIIN Fundraising Intern helps to secure additional funding for BIIN by researching potential grants. Oversees the application and coordination of new grants. Develops and oversees BIIN fundraising campaigns, maintains our presence on Network for Good, our donation database. Conducts interviews and writes stories about clients to be included in grant reports and applications highlighting the work that we do. Work is conducted along with the Fundraising Committee. Upon completion, the intern can expect to acquire valuable fundraising experience within the real-world nonprofit sector.
Qualifications:
- Must be working towards a degree
- Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm for BIIN’s mission
