The Centro de Derechos Laborales (Workers’ Rights Center) focuses on worker rights and leadership training for the immigrant community. CDL focuses on developing immigrant leaders, helping workers recover stolen wages, educating the community about labor rights, and networking with state agencies and non-governmental organizations.
  • Assisted aggrieved workers in recovering over $6,000 in unpaid wages with intervention.
  • Joined the Justice and Equality in the Workplace Program, a network that regularly meets in Houston in association with the Department of Labor, OSHA, EEOC, National Labor Relations Bureau, Fé y Justicia Interfaith Justice Worker Center, and the Houston Mayor’s Office.
  • Attended the 2017 Annual Meeting of Interfaith Worker Justice in Chicago, IL.
